A teenage girl had accompanied her boyfriend to Lover’s Lane and after a while, it became clear to the boy that he wasn’t getting any. He agreed to take the girl home, but they soon realized they had run out of gas. He got out of the car and headed to get some, so the girl just turned on the radio. She heard a news report on the radio but switched over just before hearing the news of an escaped madman. She falls asleep and when she wakes up an hour later, she can hear a scratching noise on the car. She considers getting out and moving the branches from the tree above them, but she is nervous and she decides against it. She falls back asleep after a while but is awoken by a tapping. She sees a police officer tapping on the window. She gets out of the car with him to see it is morning. The police officer tells her not to turn around whatever she does, but she can’t resist. She turns to see her boyfriend, his throat slit, hanging upside down from the tree, his finger nails scratching against the roof of the car and she gently swings back and forth…
