Nightmare-Factory Productions Community Standards

We've worked hard to create a unique horror community, so we've established a few basic community standards to ensure everyone enjoys their experience.


Must Be 18 Or Older To Join


**Gore**

Gore is permitted on this platform, as long as it adheres to all other established rules of Nightmare-Factory Productions.


**Real Death / Blood / Violence**

Out of respect for those injured or deceased and their families, images depicting real blood, death, or violence are prohibited. I understand that this new rule may be upsetting to some. However, it is a mandatory requirement.


**Posts or People You Don't Like**

If you encounter something you dislike but doesn't violate these rules, you have two options:

1.**Ignore:**
Simply disregard the post or user and move on.
2. **Block:**
To avoid seeing content from a specific person, visit their profile, click “Add to Foes List,” and block them.


**Spam & Promotional Messages**

Promotional messages are only allowed if directly requested by the recipient. Promotional posts require prior approval. Which means no adding them to your signatures as well.

Posting the same content (images or text) multiple times by a single user is considered spam. Give people a reason to enjoy your contributions and maintain positive relationships.



**Illegal Content/Goods/Services**

Any reference to goods or services illegal in the United States is prohibited. This includes information or links to websites or apps offering drugs, prostitution, etc.



**Unsolicited Nude Images**

Unsolicited nude images of any kind should not be shared on Nightmare-Factory Productions. This includes through messages, posts, comments/replies to other people’s posts, or any other methods. If you’re found sending unsolicited nudes, your account may be suspended indefinitely.



**Harassment/Bullying/Unwelcome Posts & Messages**

Harassment, bullying, and unwelcome posts or messages are not tolerated. This includes any content related to appearance, race, sexual orientation, gender, personal identifiers, or anything sexually explicit. Always communicate respectfully.



**If You're Having Issues:**

1.**Block:**
Block users for immediate results, but remember to take screenshots before blocking if you want a moderator to intervene.

2.**Report:**
Click the “!” at the top right of the post, select “Report,” and follow the instructions.

3.**Screenshot:**
Take a screenshot of the offending message(s) and send it to a moderator or site owner via private message. This is essential if you want staff to review the issue.

4. **Proof:**
Providing proof of a rule violation is crucial for action to be taken.

5.**Nightmare-Factory Productions Only:**
Staff can only address rule violations occurring within Nightmare-Factory Productions. We do not moderate other platforms.



**Trolling**

Accounts engaging in provocative behavior intended to negatively influence others may be suspended indefinitely. This includes posts encouraging rule breaking or disrupting the community.


**Religion**

Religious themes, posts, or comments are only allowed in designated areas. To maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
