Brand new lyrics for you guys. I suppose this requires a bit of explanation. I've started playing the bass, and have since started a band and joined another. I joined a band I all ready wrote lyrics for, The Gravedancers, and started another band called Afterdeath. These are lyrics I plan on using with Afterdeath.

At A Loss

When Death took all our joy away
He stole away our first unborn
Leaving myself and a mother forlorn

And I said;

Gather brick and gather stone
In place of sweet sinew and bone
Lay them at my feet, for tommorrow
I'll start building a shrine to sorrow

And when my work was finally done
My hands rose up to curse the sun
The light, it mocked me and my pain
And left me doubting I was sane

But she said;

Close the door; Don't let out the light
I'm not quite ready for the night
For the shadows rise to watch me sleep
And only light can gaurd me as I weep

Somewhere far off and never known
There is a light that's never shone
Awaiting us to strike it alight
It quivers in the dark afright

And we said;

Though you think we haven't met
We were once as close as one can get
Together, our hearts, as one, desire
Nothing more than your kindling fire
